Our School
William J. Scott donated the property on which Scott Elementary is now housed to Atlanta Public Schools.
Reverend William J. Scott was a dedicated Baptist minister whose faith-driven service touched communities across Georgia. In addition to his pastoral leadership, Reverend Scott made a profound impact on education by donating the land where our school now stands, ensuring future generations would have a place to learn and grow.
His generosity aligns with our core mission: to uplift every student through quality education and community support. At W. J. Scott Elementary, we honor his legacy each day by nurturing the whole child—academically, socially, and emotionally.
